Milliken European Airbag Products (MEAP) is a textile manufacturing site converting man made yarns into specialised fabric for use in the highly competitive automotive Airbag market. MEAP manufacture fabric from yarns in plain and coated forms for use in the manufacture of vehicle airbag modules. They also secondary process some material into cut component parts tackling the issues and concerns of today.
MEAP have a strong history of continuous improvement from 1995. Having worked through the discipline of the JIPM TPM process they have then embraced Lean Manufacturing and continue to drive it through their Milliken Performance Systems (MPS) into all aspects of their enterprise.
