Ginsters has grown from a small family run business producing traditional handmade Cornish Pasties to become the nations well loved brand of food on the move snacks for busy people.

Today, Ginsters is a favourite in the chiller cabinet, with its popular innovations such as deep fill sandwiches, tasty, tortilla-inspired wraps, ingenious buffet bars, sausage rolls, the deep fill savoury slice range and of course, traditional Cornish pasties. In fact its best selling product, Ginsters Original Cornish Pasty, is the nations best selling pastry!

In addition, the company is totally committed to the South West and continues to invest in the local area. It aims to source the majority of its fresh ingredients from local sources. In addition Ginsters continues to sponsor local associations and charities such as Plymouth Argyle Football Club, Launceston Rugby Club, and C.H.I.C.K.S (Country Holidays for Inner City Kids) and is an active member of BITC.

Over recent years Ginsters Lynher Bakery has transformed through an investment programme to develop capacity and flexibility and through significant staff development. This has seen productivity double from the bakery and builds upon a proactive policy of sourcing raw materials locally and reducing its overall environmental impact.

Lean manufacturing techniques have been enhanced and the planning process overhauled to ensure that the Bakery remains at the very forefront of chilled food manufacturing
