Lean Deployment
Dwr Cymru are four years into their lean journey and have established an inspiring programme of activity that is being rolled out across the entire company. The initial approach to lean as with many other organisations was very process driven looking at the tools and techniques. Dwr Cymru has moved on from this and whilst it still uses many of the common lean tools they now concentrate on creating the right behavours to embed and sustain continuous improvement in the longer term.
On the visit Dwr Cymru will show how the use of huddle boards engage teams across the organisation and standardise the communication of strategy and continuous improvement objectives. They will share a number of Lean Deployment projects and discuss how they recognise success within the organisation.
