Not only will you consider how you will develop your own credo or manifesto together we will also examine strategic thinking and high-performance goal setting and how these elements shape our personal messaging.  Deploying motivational goals is key to high performance – understanding the difference between goal and outcome measures and how to use these to ensure high levels of clarity and engagement, is an essential leadership skill.

Why listen to Ken Hames??

From humble beginnings as a boy working on his grandfather’s hill farm, he eventually rose to the rank of Major in the SAS, commanding Britain’s Anti-Terrorist Unit.  He is one of the very few British officers to have worn the red beret of the Parachute Brigade, the green beret of the Royal Marines and the sand beret of the Special Air Service.  As a special forces squadron commander, Hames was consistently graded as outstanding as a leader.  While pleased with the accolade, Hames is quick to point out there is little time to stop and congratulate yourself.

The physical and mental agility required is hard won and it takes constant effort and desire to stay at the head of the ‘A’ team. Ken is not however, the conventional ex-Army Officer.  His experience is vast, and he has a proven track record working at board level with organizations like HSBC, Airbus and GSK.  He has operated, facilitated, and consulted all over the globe and has a deep understanding of the international business arena. Ken explains that running his own business has taught him many things, number one being ‘Doing nothing is not an option!’…and when you are ahead is the time to ask questions like; ‘What are your leaders going to develop next?’

Ken’s manifesto is…..Lead, Follow, Change or Get Out of the Way!
